Partnering with Kolar Design, Pixel Fiction was tasked with creating content for an 8-panel floor-to-ceiling display for the 40th floor lobby of the US Bank Executive Center in Minneapolis. Upon exiting the elevator, these grand displays are the visitor’s first impression, so the screens needed to be both thoughtful and impactful. The mission was to create a wall of animated art inspired by nature, one that would immerse visitors in an atmosphere of calm and offer a unique and refined counterpoint to the surrounding spaces. Pixel Fiction's role: concept development, 3d animation, motion graphics, video editing, compositing, and color grading.

The Living Network
“The Living Network” illustrates growth and connection through time-lapse 3d animations of plant life with close-up shots of sprouting stems, unfurling leaves, and flower petals stretching toward the sun. To complete the narrative arc for each species, the animations were intercut with wider shots of footage from each environment, such as forests, meadows, streams, and lakes.
